T-Series cast Saif Ali Khan to play superhero comic.

After Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan, it is now the turn of actor Saif Ali Khan to play a superhero in Milan Luthria’s next film set in a unique comic world.

T-Series chief Bhushan Kumar will be producing the film.

Kumar said “We are extremely happy about the project and delighted to have Saif and Milan on board,
We are making a superhero film with Saif Ali Khan and Milan Luthria will be directing it.”

The makers are yet to finalise a leading lady opposite Saif. Saif had earlier teamed up with Luthria for his debut film ‘Kachche Dhaage’ (1999).
Regarding the project, Kumar said, “It will be a different kind of a superhero film. We are producing a unique comic world of superhero. It is a comical world.”

When asked if the film would be on similar lines as superheroes like ‘G.One’ (Shahrukh Khan), ‘Ra.One’ (Arjun Rampal) and ‘Krrish’ (Hrithik Roshan), Kumar said, “Our superhero is not like ‘Ra.One’ or ‘Krrish’…it is very different. I can’t reveal too much.”

The film will hit the floors from February 2013.
