Sherlyn Chopra model-turned-actress, who recently produced a commotion by turning the first Indian to strip all for the international men’s magazine Playboy, states she was not hesitant or embarrassed during the shoot.
Chopra, was at the Playboy mansion house in Los Angeles for the photo-shoot a couple of days ago and used up time with the founder-owner Hugh Hefner, stated she is proud of her work.
“I had no hesitation. I am not concerned about the public. It was the most incredible photo shoot and I can proudly pronounce that these were the greatest days of my life. Not once did I experience awkwardness or felt embarrassed,” said Sherlyn.
When ask over if she performed it to pull together all the publicity, Chopra told, “There is no ulterior motive as such. I desired to be the first Indian to do it and I went ahead and did it. I really enjoyed it. My sole program is to break away stereotypes… pushing the envelope gives me a big high.”
Sherlyn Chopra further added “I was concerned only about my sister and mother… what they would say. I believe one should not think too much about others, whether industry will offer me work or not or people will respect me or not.”
Sherlyn, says she has no idea if this event will promote her Bollywood career. “If it does… great. I don’t recall where my career is headed up from here on. I don’t know what I will do next, feature film or reality show or endorsements. All I know that whatsoever I do will be excellent work. I want to move up in life and not look back.”
