India’s original superstar, Rajesh Khanna who died a few weeks ago at the age of 69, was accorded a very ‘popular’ farewell by the entire country’s cine buffs.
Ever since the superstar of Bollywood Rajesh Khanna left the world, his 1000 crore property has been under scanner. It is heard that a week before he passed away, Rajesh Khanna called up his lawyer and constituted a will. Corresponding to the will, his property includes his bungalow Aashirwad, bank accounts and other assets will belong to his two daughters Twinkle Khanna and Rinki Khanna.He has equally shared the property between his two daughters.
According to the will, the superstar has left nothing for his estranged wife Dimple Kapadia and his live-in partner Anita Advani who lived with Rajesh Khanna in Aashirwad for 10 years. Shortly after his death, Anita Advani sent out a legal notice to the Khanna family calling for some share of the property but later she refused to have any share of his property.
The will made by Rajesh Khanna was registered in the presence of the family members, his doctor and lawyer before he died.
Rajesh Khanna passed away on july18. The entire nation grieved his death and he was given a heart warming farewell by his family, friends and fans.
The actor is survived by his estranged wife, Dimple Kapadia and his two daughters Twinkle Khanna and Rinkie Khanna. His eldest daughter Twinkle is married to actor Akshay Kumar and his younger daughter Rinkie is married to a businessman Sameer Saran.
