Anurita on prank played by GOW team

Anurita Jha, newcomer who made an amazing debut in Gangs of Wasseypur (part one) will be seen playing a pivotal role in the second part of the film, shares that the unit of the film played a prank on her while shooting for the first part. ”

There’s this suhaag raat scene in the movie, and they tried out to make me feel nervous before the shoot. They said, “Well, you don’t know all that you will have to do for this scene!” Afterwards, I realized that it was a big prank. I had real fun doing work with the likes of Manoj Bajpayee and since a lot of actors in the film come from Bihar, we bonded really well.”

She also nullifies the perception that models can’t be good actors, “Why,lots of  have made it big in Bollywood already! Besides, acting is the next sensible step for models, who are already used to fame and glamour thanks to the ramp. With proper training and guidance, they can certainly make for good actors.”

Wht does Anurita loves to do off screen? “I love to read, spend time with my family and have a select group of friends to hang out with. Also, I am truly into gymming and yoga. And as I like being close to nature, I love to go trekking sometimes” she signs off.
